CHURCHILL COLLEGE

FS Windows are proud to have been a part in this exciting new-build student accommodation for Churchill College in Cambridge.

We managed the manufacture, supply and installation of over 150 Solid Oak timber windows.

The student room windows were to a passive house specification achieving overall u-values of less than 0.8 W/m2K, utilising triple glazed solar control glazing to achieve this.

Courtyard windows were double glazed, but still performed to an impressive 1.2 W/m2K.

The project was completed within a 3 month installation period and the contract value was over £425k.

The project was featured in the Cambridge Architecture Magazine and won a Wood Awards Highly Commended Award.
